What is Manufacturing Engineering Technology?
The Manufacturing Engineering Technology program offers the opportunity to obtain a highly rewarding career in advanced manufacturing. The program is centered around increasingly sophisticated technology that is used to program Machinery and Robots used in today's manufacturing. This program is designed to give you a strong skill set that will be used to work as engineering technicians, industrial maintenance technicians, manufacturing supervisors, project managers, and much more. This program is designed to educate you in multiple technical and interpersonal skills that would allow you to potentially lead projects in many aspects of manufacturing.

Career options for Manufacturing include Manufacturing Engineering Technicians; such as control and automation technicians, electrical engineering technicians, industrial maintenance technicians, supervisors, project managers, process engineers and more. Other career options may include; public utilities, building equipment contractors, machinery and equipment repair shops, electrical and electronics wholesalers, electronics and appliance retailers, technical equipment sales rep/consultant, manufacturers of electrical, electronic, and transportation equipment, and federal, state, and local government.
