Hazard Community and Technical College provides a comprehensive Career, College, and Life Planning Center to help you make informed decisions about your future through career and interest inventories; learning styles inventories; study skills inventories; FUN student orientations; and one-on-one counseling and advising.

We offer a wide variety of academic programs – from Nursing to Heavy Equipment Operation – that are career-focused and student-centered.  The Professional Studio Artist (PSA) specializations are unique to HCTC, and include study at The Kentucky School of Craft and The Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music

Associate Degrees

With an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree from HCTC, you can transfer to any Kentucky four-year college or university.

Our University Center of the Mountains (UCM) collaboration allows you to complete a bachelor's or master's degree right here at home.  Or, you can earn your associate degree in a field like Radiography, Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education, or Cosmetology... and immediately enter the workforce.

Diplomas and Certificates

Save time and receive targeted career training through our shorter diploma and certificate programs.  Enhance your quality of life through our community education offerings or improve your job prospects through any of our workforce training courses.
