Financial Aid
Grants and scholarships are available to assist eligible students with college expenses. To be eligible for federal financial aid, students must meet application criteria and select a program of study. Applying for financial aid will take at least eight weeks, so begin early! If you need an application you may obtain one online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
Federal Law prohibits students from receiving financial aid at more than one institution for the same semester. However, you can combine your coursework from several institutions to maximize your eligibility for federal student aid. Please check with the financial aid office from your home school on the criteria you must meet and the procedures you must follow to make this happen.
Student Code of Conduct
The Kentucky Community & Technical College System has created a Student Code of Conduct addressing the governance of students. This document is available in PDF format at all times under the Student Services Section of the HCTC Website.

Students with Disability Policy Statement:
Students with documented disabilities that require individualized accommodations should do two things: contact the Disability Services Representative at their home college and inform their instructors. Once the student has contacted the Disability Services Representative the representative will communicate with the student's instructors and/or the Disability Services Representative at the delivering college to coordinate reasonable accommodations to the student. For Hazard Community and Technical College, the Disability Services Representative is Cluster Howard.
