NON-SEEK DUAL ENROLLMENT

A great way to get started on college when you are still in high school

---

The purpose of Dual Enrollment is to supplement and enrich your educational experience by allowing you to pursue course work which otherwise would not be available to you.    You are expected to complete all graduation requirements mandated by your high school. After graduation, admission to a program at the college will be granted provided you meet the minimum admission criteria. Visit our college ready brochure

TECHNICAL CAMPUS

If you are a high school student whose high school enrolls their students at the Area Technology Center in their area, now's the time to start thinking about college. Hazard Community & Technical College, Technical Campus offers a Dual Enrollment program that can help you get a head start on your college education while still in high school, no matter where you choose to pursue your higher education upon graduation.

Through Dual Enrollment, you can begin your college studies by enrolling in classes at Area Technology Centers. Credit will be awarded through articulation agreements with the Area Technology Centers and Hazard Community & Technical College . These courses maintain college level standards.

Dual enrolled students do not pay college tuition or other fees; therefore, you can cut the overall cost of your college education by taking these courses in high school.

Students must be in their junior or senior year of high school to be eligible for classes.
