If you haven't activated your SUNRISE username and password, you will need to complete those steps first . Once you have, just follow these steps to access the web-based class schedule and register:

· Go to SUNRISE at http://www.hazard.kctcs.edu/sunrise

· Select “Access your student records or register online (PeopleSoft)”

· Select “LOGIN HERE” on the upper left side of the page

· Enter your SUNRISE User ID and Password (the same as your student e-mail username and password)

· Select “SA Self Service”

· Select “Learner Services”

· Select “ Home ”

· Select “Learner Services” again

Under “Academics” you will see “Enroll in a class.” From this point, follow the on-screen instructions to select the semester, search for classes, and register. If you are a credential-seeking student, don't forget to use your academic plan to guide you as you select classes. IMPORTANT NOTE ON SELECTING CLASSES: Once you use the class search to display classes, click on the checkbox to select the class. Please note that class offerings for future terms are subject to change.

If the word “Processing” flashes at the top of your screen, select the refresh button on the browser to reload the page, or back to exit it. When you are finished, close the browser to prevent others from accessing your information.
