Hazard Community and Technical College is part of the Kentucky Coal Academy and offers training for new and incumbent miners.  The college has state-of-the art maintenance training panels as well as surface and underground simulators.  Training can be offered specifically for a company or on an individual basis.  Scholarships for individuals are available as well as funding packages for company-specific training.  Training is available in the following areas:
