ANNUAL
PERFORMANCE REVIEW PROCESS
KCTCS
has initiated a common process of annual performance, planning
and evaluation for full-time KCTCS faculty and staff. The purpose
of annual performance review is individual and institutional improvement.
HCTC has developed the following calendar to facilitate this process:

A
Performance, Planning and Evaluation Form (PPE) is used to establish
annual goals and to report accomplishments. The employee, supervisor
and reviewer meet to review position responsibilities and to establish
goals and strategies with appropriate outcomes in the following
categories:

Realizing that not all employees will agree with the overall rating
given them by their immediate supervisor, HCTC has developed a
formalized appeal process. The following processes have
been developed. Faculty appeals will follow the dates presented
in the 2007-08 Annual Performance Review and Merit Bonus Calendar
presented above. Staff appeals will follow the number of
workday presented in the appeals process.
