Hazard Community and Technical College offers a wide variety of student-centered academic programs that are career and transfer focused. Based upon students' individual career goals, HCTC offers programming that leads to degrees, diplomas and/or certificates.
Students can transfer to any four-year college or university after completing an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or Associate in Fine Arts degree at HCTC. Students should work closely with their academic advisor if this is their goal. In collaboration with the University Center of the Mountains, (UCM) students can complete a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree right here at home.
Students can also complete a variety of Associate in Applied Science degrees in fields such as Nursing, Radiography, Information Technology , Criminal Justice or Human Services designed to allow you to immediately enter the workforce.
