Student Complaints Resolution

 

Introduction

 

Hazard Community and Technical College is committed to providing a quality educational experience, fully supported by a range of academic and administrative services and facilities. On occasion, however, things may not go right , and the College recognizes the need for students to be able to express their dissatisfaction when this happens.

 

If a student believes he/she has a legitimate complaint, the first step should be to contact the unit director/head of the department in which the student feels aggrieved. If the student does not receive the redress sought at this level, the student should contact the Vice President for the unit. If, after the above informal process the student still is not satisfied, the student should file a formal complaint form through the President's Office.

 

Procedure

The procedure is divided into two stages:
