The On-the-Spot Program is a program designed for employees to recognize the good work of their peers. Whenever someone goes “above and beyond” to help a fellow employee, they can receive “On the Spot” recognition for their assistance. The program was started in 2005 in an attempt to build morale among staff employees and to just “thanks for a good job.”
Each month, one “On-the-Spot” recipient is selected through a random drawing as the overall “On the Spot” awardee. That individual receives a $20 gift from the HCTC Bookstore.
