has an administrative structure that contains four
major employee categories:
Administration
Faculty
Professional
Staff
Support
Staff
In
any organization, it is important to understand the
formal and informal lines of communication. While
it is often not necessary to follow formal lines of
authority, whenever official action is required it
is recommended that employees first notify their supervisor.
In all matters related to student and employee discipline,
purchasing, and employee recruitment and hiring, official
lines of communication must be maintained.
In
the absence of the President, the line of authority
is as follows:

Vice President of Business Services,

Provost/Vice President of Academics,

Vice President of Student Services,

Vice President of Resource and Community Development.
For
budgetary and personnel purposes, each division, department
and/or program is assigned a budget center director
who is responsible for the proper administration of
funds in his/her respective accounts. These directors
are identified throughout the year in separate memos.
