Hazard
Community College has welcomed numerous challenges since its beginning.
From being part of the University of Kentucky Community College
System to now being a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical
College System, the College's emphasis has been on quality education,
providing learning and training for occupations, readying students
for transfer to other institutions, for providing educational
opportunities for area citizens under its continuing education
auspices, and for providing leadership in Eastern Kentucky. Given
the challenges of an ever-expanding technological arena, the growing
needs of a changing service area, and the recognition of the importance
of education for all ages, Hazard Community College
looks forward to the next century.
