Summer and Fall 2008 Priority Registration
Any student who is currently
enrolled (Spring 2008) is eligible for Summer & Fall 2008
Priority Registration. Advising begins on Monday, April
14. Your advisor will help you plan your schedule of
classes and give you access to SUNRISE Self Service Enrollment.

above to access your account. Register on-line and secure
seats in the classes you need.
Traditional
Registration
If
you choose not to utilize SUNRISE and prefer traditional
registration, you may bring your properly signed and completed
registration form to one of the following locations on Monday
April 14 or Tuesday, April 15 between the hours of
9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Registration forms can be printed from
our forms page.

IMPORTANT:
Tuition
must be paid in full or payment arrangements made with the Business
Office prior to the first day of classes or your class
schedule will be cancelled.
New
and Re-Admitted Students
Students
who have never attended Hazard Community and Technical College
or who were enrolled prior to the Spring 2008 semester must complete
an application for admission. New and re-admitted students may
register at these times:

May 29 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

July 1 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fall
Wednesday,
August 6 - 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Friday,
August 8 - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Saturday,
August 9 - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon - Hazard Campus only
We
request that all Summer and Fall degree- or diploma-seeking students
have official high school transcripts or GED scores in their admissions
file. Official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions
attended must also be submitted in order to complete the admissions
file. These documents should be in your admissions file by May
1, 2008 (for Summer), or by July 2, 2008
(for Fall), in order for you to receive timely registration assistance.
Prior to registering for classes at Hazard Community and Technical
College, you may be required to take a placement test to ensure
that you are accurately placed in the appropriate level courses.
Last
Date to Drop Without Owing Tuition
Students
who register for Summer and/or Fall classes and then decide not
to attend one or more of those classes must officially withdraw
by submitting a signed drop form to one of the registration
locations listed above in order to AVOID A TUITION
CHARGE . Drop forms should be submitted by 3:00 p.m.

you are taking on-line classes via the Kentucky Virtual Campus
(KYVC), be advised that KYVC classes follow different drop/add
and refund calendars. You may access KYVC calendars at: http://www.kctcs.edu/distancelearning/Calendar.htm
for all dates associated with KYVC on-line classes. KYVC
offers several sessions each semester. Each session
is governed by its own drop/add and refund calendar .
Dropping
a Class
Obtain a drop form in the Records Office on any campus or from
our forms page.
Have your advisor sign the drop form.
Return the drop form to the Records Office.
(If
you are dropping a class after mid-term, you must obtain a grade
assignment from your instructor.)
