While the "official
purpose" of SSS is to increase retention, graduation and/or transfer rates
for SSS participants, as stated above, that purpose too narrowly limits
the vision of SSS.
Student Support Services
will maintain a supportive environment that address the needs of the whole
student while promoting personal empowerment and the development of independent,
internally motivated, life-long learners.
