      If you are a student who is going to transfer to another college or University for a Bachelor degree, you will           be referred during your second or third semester to our Transfer/Career Counselor, Helen Brunty.    She                  can assist you in preparing for transfer to another college to complete your education.

      Helen will work with you and get you ready for transfer she can help you to apply to the other colleges, get            your financial aid package together, and go with you to visit the other colleges.   This is called, "The Go-For-       Four-Program".   Once you are in  the "Go-For-Four-Program" Helen will become both your advisor and        counselor.  

     Helen can also provide you with career assessment and advising if you are unsure or undecided about your            college major.

in the JCC Lobby on the Hazard Campus

      Visit with representatives from area and regional colleges and universities. Admissions representatives will           be  present and you will be able to obtain admissions applications, catalogs and other materials to help with       your transfer decisions. This is a sanctioned SSS event for the purposes of application for the SSS grant.
